HDS Services

Healthy Development Services (HDS) provides services for children from birth to age 5 with mild to moderate developmental and behavioral concerns. Our goal at delibrainy is to assist caregivers and professionals in supporting optimal behavioral and developmental health through a network of coordinated services.
Funded by the First 5 San Diego through revenues from the Proposition 10 tobacco tax, HDS is free to families who qualify for these services.

In order to be eligible:

  • Children must be 0-5 years old and not yet in kindergarten.
  • Families must reside in San Diego County.
  • Children are unable to access services elsewhere.
  • Children are unable to access services elsewhere.Services are available regardless of insurance status or income.We are committed to ensuring you are connected to the program(s) and service(s) that best meets your child and family’s needs.

Behavior Parenting workshops (Behavior 1B)

Baby Steps workshops Birth to 15 Months (Infants & Caregivers)

Baby Steps Workshops are a great way to build bonds between infants and their caregivers.

Parent Coaching

Parent Coaching (Level 2) is a short-term service focusing on addressing specific behavioral concerns. This service level provides tools and strategies to parents/caregivers and works on formulating short and long-term service goals.

Behavioral Therapy

Behavioral Therapy (Level 3) is a therapeutic service that focuses on addressing a child and family’s complex needs and risk factors. This service level provides tools and strategies to parents/caregivers and works on formulating short-term and long-term goals for the family unit with the focus on the child.
